Graphic Designer / Web Developer / SEO

£24,000 p/a – Salary dependent on qualifications/experience

We are an energy broker based in South West London providing energy management solutions to assist business with their energy procurement and carbon reduction. We work with large energy suppliers, which include well-known companies such as Eon Energy, Scottish & Southern Energy, EDF Energy and many others. Our direct customers include a wide range of businesses, from large datacentres to major high street retailers and even airports. The successful candidate will play an important role in our development and growth within the Energy Brokering sector.

We are currently recruiting a graduate graphic designer / web developer who is hard working, creative, ambitious and career motivated. We require an individual who has demonstrated their skills up to degree level and who is able to work independently and part of a team.

You will be joining the team at a really fantastic time, with a huge amount of expansion and career opportunities. The office can be pretty fast paced at times, and being the sole in-house Graphic Designer / Developer you’ll need to hit the ground running.

Work experience is not essential; one of the most important qualifications is creativity & drive!   This graphic designer / web developer role may also include maintaining internal and external Wiki/Sharepoint pages for brokers and customers, developing and maintaining marketing materials and updating our collection of SEO (search engine optimisation) web sites.  It is vital that the candidate has excellent grammar, as eventually they will be expected to create much of the content for our web sites.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Updating and adding web content
  • Creating / Updating marketing material
  • Developing the brand further
  • Creating new web content
  • Updating WordPress pages
  • Managing the SEO for the site
  • Updating software/database aesthetical appearance

Although you’ll be able to use other applications if required and by no means do you need to have comprehensive knowledge of all of the above. Where required we can out-source various components such as HTML coding or specialist application work etc.

In our office we predominantly use Apple computers however we’ve recently adopted Office 365 which have a range of additional apps which might prove useful.

  • HTML / Other web
  • SharePoint
  • Google PPC
  • Flow
  • Filemaker
