Sales Executive / Energy Broker

£20-25,000 Basic + Sales Bonus’s, (£35k+OTE)

Nationwide Utilities is an energy consultancy firm providing energy management solutions to assist businesses with their energy procurement and carbon reduction. EDF Energy, Scottish and Southern Energy, E.ON and npower include some of the brand name suppliers that we work with. We are a team so strong work ethics are expected from candidates. This role is concerned with identification of quality leads that fit inline with the company’s major business description and enduring a successful contract for energy procurement. Experience and excellent communication skills are essential in order to deal with the calibre of client that the company is looking for.

To become a successful Sales Executive you will have proven B2B Sales experience in a related role. Relevant backgrounds for applicants to this role are selling Energy, Financial products, Business Information / Business Intelligence or other corporate sales roles.

Key requirements and skills will be:

• Personable, confident and outgoing with excellent face-to-face and written communication skills
• Ambitious and target-driven with strong commercial acumen
• Ability to prioritise and juggle a varied and sometimes heavy workload
• Confident working with a high degree of autonomy
• Comfortable networking and happy to regularly attend industry events
• Willing to undertake ad hoc tasks associated with working in a small team
• Friendly, sociable and enthusiastic!

To do this, you will need to understand what your clients’ needs are when considering what type of contract will suit them best, and develop a relationship through regular contact over the phone and face to face.

You will want to share your experience of selling energy contracts into the B2B market. You will be outrageously motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills and will brandish your confidence, drive, direction and commitment. You will succeed.
